Yes, PlugPrice supports complex tariffs. Depending on the charger, a complex tariff can be applied. For example, a time-based tariff, a session-based tariff, an energy-based tariff or a combination. The pricing detail shows a breakdown of all tariff components.

Some tariffs only apply after a certain time has passed while charging. For example, it can be that an additional time based tariff is applied after 30 minutes of charging.

Absolutely, if the tariff has different prices for peak and off-peak hours, PlugPrice will take this into account.

No, we do not take into account parking fees when calculating the estimated cost. The reason is that we do not know how long you will be parked at the charging station once charging is completed. However, we do show the parking fee if applicable at the charging station in the pricing detail. Make sure to unplug your car when charging is completed to avoid unexpected costs!

Currently you cannot see real-time availability of a charger in the app. This is a feature that may be added in the future.

Lets take an example. The one time fee for this charging session is 0,62 EURO. The energy price is 0,61 EUR per kWh and the estimated amount of energy that will be added is 39 kWh. There is no time based fee. The parking fee is 0,12 EURO per minute if you leave the car plugged in when charging is completed. The total estimated charging cost is 24,41 EURO and 5,13 EURO VAT will be added. The VAT rate is 21%

No you cannot use the app to pay for your charging session. You have to use your charging provider app, RFID card or another payment method like a credit card to pay for your charging session.
